Piccolo tries a Special Beam Cannon on Radditz but fails to hit him. Goku finds his brothers weakness is the same thing that gives him his power, his tail. He holds down Radditz by his tail while Piccolo powers up a second Special Beam Cannon. Radditz plays on Goku's apparent weakness of trust and pleas for his life. Goku lets him go.
Radditz then beats on Goku and stamps on the fallen hero causing him to yell in pain. Upon hearing this, Gohan releases an incredible amount of power and breaks out of the ship. He then sees his father being beat up by Radditz and uses this power to fly at Radditz and knocks him to the ground with one hit. This gives Goku a second chance to hold his brother so Piccolo can hit him with his Special Beam Cannon.
How will Goku and Piccolo make up the difference? What sacrifices will have to be made to protect the Earth? It seems that Goku might have to sacrifice his own life to destroy Radditz and save the human race.
